Thomas Hanzon is one of the most renowned actors of his generation. He has worked with directors like Ingmar Bergman, Lars Norén, Arthur Miller and Thommy Berggren.

As a young man, Thomas was a football player and despite having a brilliant career ahead as a professional player, he decided to quit football to pursue an acting carrer.

In 1982 he founded "Cameleont Theater" and in 1985 he was discovered by a producer in the City Theatre of Stockholm who hired him for the acclaimed "Arnold" by Harvey Fierstein.

Two years later, Thomas began his film career with the film "Ninth Company", directed by Colin Nutley. In 1989, he debuted at the Royal Dramatic Theatre performing the character Danceny in "Dangerous Liaisons". Since then he has participated in countless works under the tutelage of various directors at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. These include two works under the direction of Ingmar Bergman: "Peer Gynt" and "The Misanthrope", the play "Death of a Salesman," directed by Arthur Miller, as well as "The Home Coming", directed by Thommy Berggren, or "Persons 3:01" directed by Lars Noren. There is also "Macbeth" directed by Staffan Valdemar Holm, "Love and Politics", directed by Hilda Hellwig, "Hidden" and "Massacre God," directed by Staffan Roos, "Mímica", directed by Kjersti de Hornos, and "Rus", "The affection that I am worthy" and "A Family - August: Osage County ", directed by Stefan Larsson.

As for his films, there are titles such as "Faithless", "Life is a Popular Song," "Hazel - Destroy the Initiators", "The Way Out", "Tic Tac", "Love No Love", "Moreno and the Silence" and "Carambola". The latter two were included in the series of films about Van Veeteren Commissioner (based on the novels by Håkan Nesser).
